Women Build House

On Saturday, February 11th Willamette West Habitat for Humanity is having a fund raiser for their very first Women Build house. 

 The event is a talk by Stacy Allison followed by a dessert buffet.  If you are not familiar with Stacy, she was the first US woman to summit Mt. Everest.  She has published two books and owns and runs her own construction company.  She has given hundreds of motivational lectures to all sorts of businesses and groups.  She believes that the ultimate strength is belief in one's self.

 Admission is $25, which is fully tax deductible.  It's a very small price to pay to help someone own their own home and receive a strong message from a very inspiring speaker. 

The event takes place at Valley Catholic High School and tickets can only be purchased on the Habitat website: habitatwest.org/wb
