Bonnie Raitt

Bonnie Raitt has been breaking down barriers of gender and genre since she started playing music. She's been a KINK artist since the 1970s, when one of our deejay's wives tucked Bonnie's first album in his work bag and ordered politely, "Play this. You won't regret it."

And we haven't.

For more than five decades, Bonnie has explored every kind of musical material--including pop, rock, and balladry-- while staying true to her blues roots.

Our listeners remember Bonnie Raitt songs played on their first dates, their weddings, the births of their children and, yes, some divorces. As she explains to Dave and Sheila in our first interview in a while, "We've all grown up together."
