I knew it was a major time sucker when I first saw it!
To celebrate what would have been Les Paul’s 96th birthday, on June 9th, Google changed their logo to a playable, stringed one.
Now, a report by Extreme Tech estimates that businesses lost 268.4-million dollars in productivity because workers were so distracted by the fun logo. Apparently, the 740-million visitors to the site spent an average 26 seconds on the page, adding up to 10.7-million hours of total time spent playing with the logo.
