I may have missed last week, but I'm back with some new albums that have caught my eye. Support your local record store!
Old 97s - The Grand Theatre Vol. 2: Rhett Miller and crew return in TGTV2. Old 97s have a strong history of capturing their live western-rock energy on recordings. I hope it continues.
Bon Iver - Calgary: If quantity means anything at all to you, Bon Iver's band is up to 9 members! Experimental somewhat electronic and, well, you just have to listen for yourself.
Teddybears - Devil's Music: I think I'm more in love with the "evil-teddybear" marketing than the actual music, but if you're looking for something a little off-kilter that you can dance to, here ya go. They do lots of collaborations (Iggy Pop, Cee Lo, Robyn, etc...)
