Hard rockers and Oregon Music Hall of Famers Marv and Rindy Ross shape-shift into singer-songwriter mode Thursday, October 11, 7:00pm at Secret Society.

Thursday, October 11, 7:00PM, Secret Society, 116 N.E. Russell St. Tickets: $15 advance through brownpapertickets.com or $20 at the door.

As Quarterflash, Marv and Rindy Ross built one of the most successful bands to ever come out of Portland, touring with the likes of Elton John, stacking up platinum records and a major studio film soundtrack ("Nightshift").  Since then they've reinvented themselves with The Trail Band and now, distilling the fun and intensity of Quarterflash into a powerful acoustic duo, their vocals complimented by Marv's unique guitar tunings and Rindy's trademark sax.

Opening the show is Lincoln Crockett, one of the finest of the new breed of Portland-based singer-songwriters, and a killer mandolin player. Lincoln's occasional collaborator Chris Kokesh calls his music "A kick in the pants with a hug.  Like 'Hey, wake up' and 'I understand, we're all in this together'."
