Is she one of our most 'feisty" of musicians? Seems so. Feist goes out of her way to break rules. Or at least not follow them, but her own whims.

METALS

Feist's newest album, Metals, was  laid down in a spectacular setting. She headed to Big Sur, built a studio on the side of a cliff. So you can imagine the kinds of things that were seeping into the album... the majesty. the ocean. the spirituality. It's all in there. Seemingly following no rules, and neither do any immediate "hit songs" emerge.
