Sandy River Clean-Up

sandy river

The good folks from SOLV are leading a clean-up effort at the Sandy River where it crosses through Lewis and Clark State Park in the Troutdale area on Saturday, August 2nd.  You can join them and by simply picking up trash, you’ll help improve water quality, protect wildlife and make the area more beautiful.  Saturday’s event is from 10 a.m. to noon and it’s only for adults, 21 and over (participants are invited to come together at Shirley’s Tippy Canoe for free appetizers and drinks afterward).  When it’s all done, you can hang out and enjoy the view.  I’ve posted a link on our website with more details.
