Bridge of the Goddess Half Marathon & 10K

After careful deliberation and with the assistance of many people and governmental entities, we have decided to move our race to Vancouver, WA. The Bridge of the Goddess Half Marathon & 10K will take place as scheduled 8:00am, on Saturday, September 16th, 2017, in a new location: Vancouver, Washington.
The ramifications of the fire in the area on the Bridge of the Goddess courses are serious. Road and trail closures, fire crews & their equipment, smoke, burning materials, threat of rock and debris slides, and air quality combine to make Cascade Locks and the Historic Columbia River Highway Trail unsafe and unsuitable for runners and walkers at this time.
“We may not be able to race in The Gorge, but we can race for The Gorge.” Donations will be accepted for a variety of organizations, including first responders, American Red Cross and Gorge area services such as FISH, a local food bank.
Collectively we can make a difference!
Thank you for keeping your Goddess spirit shining, and for your understanding in the face of this difficult situation. We are dubbing this year THE YEAR OF THE FIRE.
We will be updating our website and emailing details over the next few days including directions to race, parking information, course maps and other race day information. Packet pick up information will remain the same.
