Meanwhile, Paul has turned to his old friend, Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels, to help his promote his new album, Stranger to Stranger, which will be out on Friday.
In March, Simon shot a video with former SNL cast member Fred Armisen at the New York Auto Show in which they fumble about discussing cars, but the ultimate goal is to plug his new album. Asked by a young kid what he does, Simon says, “Essentially I write music.”
The video debuted on Saturday Night Live‘s website immediately following this weekend’s season finale, which was hosted by Armisen. Check out the video here.
