Noel Gallagher's High Flying BirdsNovember 12, 2011, 8:07 pm Artist: Noel Gallagher Album: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Quick Review: I found myself accidentally referring to this album as Noel Gallagher's Flying Circus, instead of High Flying Birds. Monty Python force of habit? Probably. But, some of the songs on this album almost have a circus like feel to them. Take the song "The Death of You and Me."

Coldplay - Mylo XylotoOctober 26, 2011, 9:01 am Album: Mylo Xyloto Quick Review: It's always been my humble opinion that Chris Martin has a screw loose somewhere. Maybe that's what keeps the rest of us from thinking on such a grand scale... we're wound too tight. Thinking big definitely seems to be a major influence on Coldplay's latest release. It's filled with arena rock anthems. Songs that evoke images of fog machines and laser light shows.

The Head and the HeartOctober 20, 2011, 5:30 am These guys are still a little green. New. Fresh. Still adjusting to being thrust into to the spotlight. Ok, maybe this isn't an overnight success story, but it's certainly a lot quicker than expected (I suspect). They seemed genuinely happy about the sold-out nature of the show, going out of their way to say thank you and point out home made signs. Heck, I almost feel like they were blushing when they were introducing themselves. "Hi. We're the Head and the Heart. We're from Seattle."
